Project of the Centralized Nuclear Spent Fuel Storage on the territory of the Chernobyl Zone: problems of implementation

The experts of the Ukrainian environmental non-government organization, National Ecological Centre of Ukraine, believe that the existing project of the centralized nuclear spent fuel storage (CNSFS) on site of Chernobyl NPP does not resolve the problem of spent nuclear fuel in Ukraine.

Attempt to conceal the serious accident at Rivne NPP (Ukraine)

Ukrainian Environmentalists Complain about Belarusians

Government of Belarus has decided to build two nuclear reactors not consulted with the neighboring countries, Ukraine and Lithuania. In this connection, Ecoclub Rivne environmental organization filed a complaint to the persons responsible for compliance with the UN Convention.

According to the Ukrainian service of Deutsche Welle, Ecoclub stresses, in particular, on the failure of Belarus to comply with the Convention on the Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context. more…
